Our take
This open-box Cuisinart is a bargain at under $100. The 10-cup bowl is a nice middle ground, and 3 speeds give good control. It slices and chops evenly, and the plastic body is lighter than metal but feels durable enough. It handles dough surprisingly well. The only downside is the lack of a pulse function, but you can improvise. For the price, it's a very capable processor.
